Bishkek, May 22, 2025. / Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, as part of a working visit to the Republic of Hungary, visited the new building of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Budapest, the press service of the head of state reported.
In accordance with the President's instructions, in January 2024, the diplomatic mission moved to a new building acquired by the state.
The head of state inspected the offices, administrative premises and familiarized himself with the working conditions of the employees of the diplomatic mission.
During the visit, Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that the state will continue to attach primary importance to strengthening the material and technical base of foreign missions.
"We continue to acquire property around the world. Over the past 30 years, we have rented real estate in major cities such as New York and Washington. If we had purchased the buildings 10 years ago, they would have already paid for themselves. At the same time, the property would forever remain the property of Kyrgyzstan," said President Sadyr Zhaparov, adding that diplomats should also be provided with official apartments, which will be on the balance sheet of the state.
The embassy building with a total area of 480 square meters is located in a prestigious and well-appointed part of Budapest.
