Prices increased by 8.3% in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec.15, 2025. /Kabar/. Since the beginning of the year, prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan have increased by 8.3%, National Statistical Committee reports.

According to the agency, the largest price increases were for food and non-alcoholic beverages, up 8.9%. Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 7.9%, and non-food products by 7.0%. Tariffs for services for the population increased by 9.1%.

The largest overall price increase was recorded in Osh city by 10.7%, mainly due to higher prices for non-food products. In Chui oblast, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased the most, up 12.0%. Significant increase in the prices of alcohol and tobacco products was recorded in Issyk-Kul oblast, up 14.2%, while tariffs for services for the population increased the most in the Talas region, up 10.6%.
