Recep Tayyip Erdogan receives foreign ministers of OTS countries

Bishkek, March 9, 2026. /Kabar/. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the foreign ministers of OTS member states.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting took place within the framework of the informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States held in Istanbul on March 7.

At the meeting, the Turkish president warmly welcomed the OTS foreign ministers and stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the Turkic states. He noted the importance of continuous dialogue on topical regional and international issues and expressed his interest in further developing multilateral cooperation within the organization.

In turn, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President Sadyr Zhaparov. He noted that Turkiye is one of the most important and reliable partners of Kyrgyzstan, with which friendly, mutual respect and comprehensive strategic partnership relations are maintained.

The minister also highly appreciated the personal contribution of Recep Tayyip Erdogan to promoting peace initiatives for diplomatic resolution of various regional and global conflicts.

He also provided information on the progress of preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the sixth World Nomad Games to be held in Bishkek this year.

As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening bilateral cooperation, as well as strengthening interaction within the framework of regional and international organizations.
