Bishkek. Dec. 5, 2025. /Kabar/. Manas International Airport terminal is being reconstructed. The terminal area, waiting rooms, and check-in area are being expanded, and the new complex is being equipped with the latest technology.
According to Altynbek Mambetov, director of infrastructure and regional development of Kyrgyzstan Airports, the terminal will be transformed beyond recognition.
"The passenger areas are being expanded to 20,000 square meters. A parking lot for 600 cars is also being built. The design work was carried out jointly with the Ministry of Construction. Currently, new construction is underway on a total area of 70,000 square meters of the airport. The old part is also being renovated," he said.
