Bishkek, March 6, 2026. /Kabar/. The total volume of remittances to Kyrgyzstan by the end of 2025 amounted to $3 billion 491.2 million, according to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The majority of remittances came from the CIS countries — $3.293 billion. Russia remains the leader in remittance volume — $3.231 billion. Kazakhstan transferred $35.8 million to Kyrgyzstan.
From non-CIS countries, the volume of remittances amounted to $198 million. Specifically, $107.8 million came from the United States, $11.8 million from Turkey, $2 million from South Korea, and $101.9 million from other countries.
Meanwhile, the volume of remittances from Kyrgyzstan abroad by the end of 2025 amounted to $373.7 million.
The majority of funds went to the CIS countries — $340.4 million. Of these, $329.1 million went to Russia, and $2.8 million to Kazakhstan.
$33.4 million was sent from Kyrgyzstan to non-CIS countries. Specifically, $29.4 million went to Turkey, and $1 million went to the United States. million, to South Korea - $0.7 million, to other countries - $10.7 million.
