Bishkek, April 30, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, April 30, Sadyr Zhaparov and Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Togolese Republic, were shown traditional equestrian games and competitions of the Kyrgyz people. According to the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, the event took place at the hippodrome in the village of Baktuu-Dolonotu in the Issyk-Kul region.
Guests were greeted at the entrance to the hippodrome by warriors and girls in national costumes accompanied by the sounds of dobulbas drums.
The program included a kok-boru demonstration by the Namys (Naryn region) and Sary-Ozon (Chui region) teams.
Furthermore, the participants demonstrated the components of the complex ancient game of Salbuurun, described in the epic poem "Manas," including hunting with falcons and taigans, mounted archery, and the traditional game of Kyz-kuumai.
The event concluded with a stunt troupe performing elements of trick riding, spear duels, and horseback riding stunts.
