Bishkek, April 23, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Rukh-Ordo cultural center in Cholpon-Ata on Tuesday as part of his working visit to Kyrgyzstan.
The presidential press service reported that the Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev conducted a short tour of the complex, telling the story of the creation of the open-air museum on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake.
During a walk around the center, the guests of honor inspected a pier made in the form of a national musical instrument. Here they were shown how to play the komuz. Afterwards, Sadyr Zhaparov presented the distinguished guest a komuz, a symbol of Kyrgyz musical culture as a gift.
Then the president and the chairman tasted kuurma tea during a demonstration of national treats.
Later, they went to a radon spring located near the complex. There, President Sadyr Zhaparov spoke about the healing properties of the water, emphasizing that there are thousands of such springs in the Issyk-Kul region, known for their beneficial effects on health.
