Bishkek, May 15, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov arrived in the Republic of Kazakhstan today, May 15, on a working visit.
According to the presidential administration, the head of state's plane landed at Khazret Sultan International Airport in Turkestan.
Sadyr Zhaparov was met by State Advisor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Karin and other officials.
The flags of member states of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) were flown from the airport's flagpoles, and a red carpet was laid out, along which an honor guard was lined up.
It should be noted that as part of his working visit, the president will participate in an informal summit of the heads of state of OTS.
The summit will be attended by the heads of state of the OTS member states: Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, as well as the heads of OTS observer states and the Secretary General of the organization.
During the event, dedicated to the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development," the president will present Kyrgyzstan's experience in legislative regulation of digital transformation, the implementation of state digital platforms and electronic services for citizens, and the development of digital education.
Particular attention will be paid to joint projects within the OTS, including the creation of a digital transport corridor, the introduction of electronic documents for international freight transport, and the development of cooperation in the digital economy.
This summit will be an important step in strengthening cooperation between the Turkic states in the field of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
