Bishkek, March 31, 2025. /Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov arrived today in Khujand for a working visit.
The presidential press service said that the head of state's plane landed at the Khujand international airport. President Sadyr Zhaparov was met by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The national flags of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were hung at the international airport of Khujand, a carpet was laid out, and a guard of honor was lined up.
Girls in national costumes greeted the President of Kyrgyzstan. Then a short concert program was presented for the heads of state.
As part of the visit, a trilateral Summit of the heads of state of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan is planned, the main goal of which is to sign an Agreement between the three countries on the junction point of state borders, as well as to strengthen and further cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
In addition, a Joint Statement of the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be adopted.
The heads of state will also take part in the opening ceremony of the stele at the junction point of state borders in an online format with the participation of the deputy prime ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
