Bishkek, July 8, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has arrived today in Tajikistan on a state visit.
The head of state's plane landed at the international airport in Dushanbe.
President Sadyr Zhaparov was met by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The national flags of the two countries were hung out at the international airport in Dushanbe, a carpet was laid out, and a guard of honor was lined up.
After mutual greetings, the leaders of the countries were greeted by young men and women in national costumes. Then, a short concert program with the participation of more than 500 artists was presented for the heads of state.
As part of the visit, bilateral talks with President Emomali Rahmon are planned, as well as meetings with the speakers of the two chambers of parliament and the country's prime minister.
A Joint Statement of the heads of state of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is expected, as well as the signing of a number of bilateral documents.
In addition, the visit will include a Kyrgyz-Tajik economic and investment forum, as well as a concert “Eternal Friendship” with the participation of artists from the two countries.
