Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2025. /Kabar/. Today, December 22, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov took part in an informal meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States in St. Petersburg.
The meeting was attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The presidents were greeted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the program, the heads of state were given a brief tour of the State Hermitage Museum. They were shown the Alexander and St. George Halls, as well as original exhibits. The CIS leaders then proceeded to the St. George's Hall of the Hermitage, where an informal meeting was held.
At the meeting, the leaders summarized the activities of the CIS bodies and identified priority areas for 2026.
