Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2026 /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov participated on September 22, in the opening of the General Debate at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, currently taking place in New York, the Presidential Administration reported.
Prior to the start of the debate, a welcoming ceremony was held where the head of state was greeted by UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
Heads of state and delegations from 193 countries are participating in the opening of the debate. The UN General Assembly session opened under the theme "Restoring Trust, Managing Transformations: The United Nations Working for the Benefit of All."
