Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2026 /Kabar/. In his interview with Kabar, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov commented on the voluntary resignation of the Parliament Speaker and its possible connection to the recent appeal by 75 citizens.
Head of state noted that he would not claim a direct connection between these events, but admitted that certain factors could have influenced the former speaker's decision.
"Perhaps he was influenced by these people or those who organized them. Perhaps, realizing his mistake and feeling responsible for allowing a rift to begin among the deputies, he came to this conclusion," Sadyr Zhaparov explained.
As a reminder, yesterday, February 12, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu resigned voluntarily.
