Bishkek, July 24, 2026 /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov spoke by phone with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today, July 24.
The head of state congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his 69th birthday and wished him good health, family well-being, inexhaustible strength and new successes in his state activities. Sadyr Zhaparov noted the significant socio-economic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which have contributed to increasing the well-being of the Uzbek people. Sadyr Zhaparov thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his personal support of bilateral initiatives and emphasized his important role in strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia.
The head of state noted that the presentation of the Kyrgyz edition of the book “New Uzbekistan: The Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev” in Bishkek on July 21 was a success. It was attended by state and public figures of both countries, representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia, as well as the Uzbek diaspora in Kyrgyzstan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his deep gratitude for the warm congratulations and high assessment of the changes underway in Uzbekistan. The president of Uzbekistan noted that the brotherly and good-neighborly relations between the two countries are an important basis for further strengthening comprehensive partnership.
The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek strategic partnership, which is being supplemented by new projects and initiatives for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
