Sadyr Zhaparov held talks with Donald Trump

Bishkek, Nov. 7, 2025. /Kabar/. On November 6, as part of his working visit to the United States, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov held talks with President Donald Trump in Washington.

The leaders discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the United States, including in the political sphere, as well as in the fields of financial technology and artificial intelligence.

Noting that Kyrgyzstan, unlike other countries, does not possess oil and gas reserves, the Head of State emphasized that the country's main asset is its educated youth. Many of them are actively pursuing IT careers.

Sadyr Zhaparov also emphasized cooperation in financial technology and noted the Genius Act, passed by US President Donald Trump, which regulates stablecoins and is rightfully considered one of the most advanced and progressive laws in the world.

President Sadyr Zhaparov spoke about the measures being taken to introduce digital financial instruments in Kyrgyzstan, including the launch of a national stablecoin, KGST, and the creation of a state cryptocurrency reserve.

In turn, Donald Trump warmly welcomed Sadyr Zhaparov and noted the progressive development of bilateral relations.

US President also expressed confidence that constructive dialogue at the highest level will facilitate the further development of cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable development, security, and the well-being of the peoples of the two countries.
