The Foreign Ministry said that during the conversation, bewilderment and disagreement were expressed to Hans Farnhammer in connection with the incorrect presentation of facts in the statement of Chairman of the Subcommittee of the European Parliament on Human Rights, Mounir Satouri, dated February 7, 2025.
The Kyrgyz side explained that the visit of the delegation of the Subcommittee of the European Parliament on Human Rights was not canceled, as it was proposed to postpone the visit to a later date, due to the lack of advance agreement on the timing of the visit and the busy schedule of foreign policy events.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic informed that after the information appeared in the media, President Sadyr Zhaparov instructed to invite the delegation of the European Parliament at the desired time and provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the real situation on the spot.
