Bishkek, July 8, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, July 8, as part of a state visit to Tajikistan, laid a wreath at the monument to the founder of the Tajik state, Ismail Somoni, in the city of Dushanbe.
The monument is located on Dusti Square and is the central part of the memorial dedicated to national unity.
The complex was opened in 1999 on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the Samanid Empire and symbolizes the continuity of the historical heritage and sovereignty of Tajikistan.
