On October 13, President Sadyr Zhaparov received Siroco Messerli, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Kyrgyz Republic, on the occasion of the presentation of his credentials and congratulated him on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan, the presidential press service reported. The head of state noted that he was sincerely pleased with the positive dynamics of the political dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the need for joint efforts to maintain and further increase trade turnover. In turn, Swiss Ambassador Siroco Messerli expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted with satisfaction Kyrgyzstan's important achievements in economic development. Messerli also emphasized Switzerland's interest in deepening cooperation of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further develop and strengthen multifaceted cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland.
