Bishkek, March 13, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will take part in Nooruz celebration in Tajikistan. This became known during the meeting of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Bishkek.
At the meeting Sadyr Zhaparov noted that one of the important issues on the agenda was strengthening cooperation between border regions.
"Joint cultural events that contribute to strengthening good-neighborly relations play a special role in this process. Also in this context, I would like to note the importance of the upcoming Nooruz celebration in the city of Khujand on March 31. Taking this opportunity, I thank you for the invitation and confirm my participation," the president said.
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Bishkek for a state visit. During the visit the parties will discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic, transport, energy and water resources, as well as prospects for further cooperation.
