Bishkek, July 9, 2025. /Kabar/. Today, July 9, as part of a state visit to Tajikistan, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov held talks with Tajik Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda in Dushanbe.
The parties discussed a wide range of topical issues of Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation.
Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda emphasized that today's visit reflects the positive dynamics in relations between the two states. He noted that thanks to the political will of the leaders of the two countries, Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation has reached a new level.
The prime minister of Tajikistan noted that against the backdrop of strengthening mutual understanding and increasing practical cooperation, the parties demonstrate mutual interest in the progressive development of relations.
Kokhir Rasulzoda expressed confidence that the visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov will become a significant impetus for expanding cooperation, primarily in the economic sphere, as well as in the areas of infrastructure, industry, agriculture and other areas.
In turn, President Sadyr Zhaparov noted that this year is an important milestone in Kyrgyz-Tajik relations. The resolution of sensitive issues, the consolidation of agreements on paper, mutual visits at high and highest levels - all this is undoubtedly the result of the strong political will of the heads of state and the tireless work of governments.
The head of state noted with satisfaction that the documents signed during the visit, as well as the work carried out by our Governments, lay an unshakable foundation for the eternal friendship of the two countries and peoples.
In this regard, the President noted that the time has come to implement all agreements and set tasks, and it is necessary to unite efforts to bring Kyrgyz-Tajik relations to a qualitatively new level.
In conclusion, Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence, taking into account that one of the determining factors in the successful development of bilateral relations is the work of the heads of government, that the prime ministers of the two states will also make every effort to ensure the prosperity of Kyrgyz-Tajik relations.
