Bishkek, March 16, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Kairat Tursunkulov accepted copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan, Iyad bin Ghazi Hakim.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, upon accepting the copies of the credentials, the Deputy Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his important position.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the further progressive development of bilateral relations, including deepening political dialogue and expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation. In addition, an exchange of views took place on current international and regional issues, with a focus on the current situation in the Middle East.
Special attention was paid to organizing reciprocal visits at the highest levels.
For his part, Iyad Hakim assured that during his diplomatic mission, he will make every effort to further strengthen Kyrgyz-Saudi relations.
