Bishkek, May 28, 2026 /Kabar/. At the 5th SCO regional heads forum taking place in Cholpon-Ata, number of documents were signed between regions, cities, and free economic zones of the states.
In particular, the following documents were signed:
- Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation between the General Directorate of the Bishkek Free Economic Zone and the Administration of the Brest Free Economic Zone (Belarus);
- Agreement on the establishment of friendly exchange relations between Bishkek and Zhengzhou (China);
- Agreement on cooperation between the General Directorate of the Naryn Free Economic Zone and the state institution "Administration of the Brest Free Economic Zone" (Belarus);
- Roadmap for 2026-2027 for the implementation of the agreement establishing sister city relations between Karakol and Brest (Belarus).
It is noted that the signed documents are aimed at strengthening interregional cooperation, developing trade and economic ties, expanding investment interaction, and strengthening friendly relations between the cities and regions of the SCO member states.
