Bishkek, March 27, 2026. /Kabar/. The results of the "Folk Dance" competition, held as part of the first Youth Delphic Games of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states, have been announced. According to the mayor's office, winners in two age categories were determined based on the results of the competition.
In the 15 to 22 age category:
1st place went to the Dance Group of SCCM (People's Republic of China);
2nd place went to the Kroki folk dance ensemble (Republic of Belarus);
3rd place went to the Honored Folk Art Collective, the Sibirskie Uzory folk dance ensemble (Russian Federation).
In the 10 to 14 age category:
1st place went to the Shattyk People's Model Dance Ensemble (Kyrgyz Republic);
2nd place went to the Nursaulemai Model Choreographic Ensemble (Republic of Kazakhstan);
3rd place went to the Ariet Choreographic Ensemble (Kyrgyz Republic).
Participants were also awarded special diplomas based on the results of the competition.
In the 10 to 14 age category:
— Dilgir Folk Dance Ensemble (Kyrgyz Republic) — Diploma "For the Preservation of Folk Dance";
— Ulybka People's Exemplary Choreographic Ensemble (Kyrgyz Republic) — Diploma "For Strengthening International Cultural Relations";
— Almaz Choreographic Ensemble (Kyrgyz Republic) — Diploma "For Stage Culture".
In the 15 to 22 age category:
— Shattyk People's Exemplary Dance Ensemble (Kyrgyz Republic) — Diploma "For High Performance Culture";
— Nursaulemai Exemplary Choreographic Ensemble (Kazakhstan) — Diploma "For Expression in Dance";
— Ensemble "Classical Folk" (Republic of India) — diploma "For the preservation of folk culture traditions".
