Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov praised Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship of the Organization.

He held a press conference in Bishkek, where he summed up the results of the CSTO Collective Security Council meeting attended by the heads of member states and presented a detailed report on the Organization’s activities over the past three years.

Tasmagambetov highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s responsible and constructive approach, noting that all priorities outlined by President Sadyr Japarov a year earlier have been successfully implemented.

According to him, the key outcome of the summit was the reaffirmation by the leaders of their commitment to the CSTO’s principles and goals, as well as the adoption of a package of documents aimed at strengthening collective security.

The meeting also reviewed the military-political situation in the Organization’s area of responsibility and the rise of hybrid threats.
