Bishkek, Oct. 14, 2025. /Kabar/. A delegation from a major Shanghai company, interested in establishing partnerships and implementing joint projects, arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a business visit, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the visit, the delegation met with Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. Among the guests were the chairman of the board of a large joint-stock group, including pharmaceutical and infrastructure construction companies, and the chief designer of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan highway.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to organize a business tour for Kyrgyz companies to Shanghai for targeted B2B meetings, as well as to prepare a major investment forum in Bishkek with the participation of Shanghai companies and representatives of Kyrgyzstan's leading industries.
"Our goal is to translate this interest into concrete contracts. Our Shanghai partners see Kyrgyzstan's potential in pharmaceuticals, transport infrastructure, and technology localization. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic will provide a platform for direct business dialogue to ensure joint projects reach the implementation stage as quickly as possible," noted Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The main areas of cooperation are:
Pharmaceuticals – creation of joint ventures and contract manufacturing;
Transport infrastructure – construction of railways and highways, design and engineering solutions;
Logistics and services – development of infrastructure around the future China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chinese side will form a working group to prepare for the business trip and investment forum, and will determine the dates, participants, and industry sessions.
