Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2025. /Kabar/. A business breakfast was held in Bishkek with the participation of Chairman of the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Saliev, Turkish Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Mekin Mustafa Kemal, and representatives of the Public Association of Entrepreneurs, Culture, Solidarity, and Friendship Turkiye-Kyrgyzstan.
According to the State Customs Service, trade and economic cooperation and practical aspects of interaction between Turkish businesses and Kyrgyz customs were discussed during the meeting.
The head of the customs service answered current questions from entrepreneurs regarding the application of customs legislation, clearance times, the operation of digital services, and measures to further simplify processes.
Saliev noted that the agency is open to dialogue and is ready to promptly address business inquiries.
The parties exchanged views on the development of bilateral trade, logistics, electronic data exchange, and interaction with regulatory authorities. Particular attention was paid to reducing administrative barriers and creating a favorable environment for foreign economic activity.
Following the meeting, the participants expressed confidence that such events contribute to building trust and developing solutions that support the development of Kyrgyz-Turkish economic ties.
