Bishkek, Aug. 26, 2026. /Kabar/. A delegation from the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan, led by Deputy Chairman Nurlan Musaev paid a working visit to Uzbekistan.
According to the Supreme Court, the main purpose of the visit was to study Uzbekistan's experience in digital transformation of the judicial system, the implementation of modern information technologies, and the improvement of court administration, as well as to further develop bilateral judicial cooperation.
As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting was held between Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Nurlan Musaev and Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan Robakhon Makhmudova. The parties discussed prospects for developing judicial cooperation, the digitalization of justice, and the exchange of practical experience.
The Kyrgyz delegation also held working meetings with representatives of relevant departments of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, during which they learned about the development of the Unified Court Information System, electronic legal proceedings, electronic document management, automated case distribution, digital services for citizens and trial participants, as well as the use of artificial intelligence technologies and analytical tools in judicial proceedings.
As part of the visit, the Supreme Court delegation visited the Yunusabad District Criminal Court of Tashkent, where they learned about the organization of the court's work and the use of digital technologies in criminal proceedings.
Furthermore, a bilateral meeting was held with Olimjon Ismailov, Chairman of the Tashkent City Court. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the organization of judicial proceedings, court administration, the digitalization of court proceedings, and the further development of professional cooperation.
The Kyrgyz side also presented their Uzbek counterparts with information on specific areas of digitalization of the Kyrgyz judicial system and the electronic services being implemented.
Following the visit, the parties expressed interest in further strengthening professional cooperation, regularly exchanging experiences, holding joint expert meetings and seminars, and organizing study visits and internships for specialists.
