Issyk-Kul, Sept. 5, 2026 /Kabar/. Honored actress of Russia and Kazakhstan Natalia Arinbasarova highlighted the changes taking place in Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the importance of preserving national traditions during a press conference in Cholpon-Ata.
Arinbasarova shared her impressions of returning to Kyrgyzstan after nearly 10 years.
“I am very happy to be here because I have not set foot on Kyrgyz soil for almost 10 years. I am very grateful for the opportunity to witness the remarkable changes that have taken place in Kyrgyzstan,” she said.
The actress said she was particularly impressed by the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games and the way Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov welcomed foreign guests.
“I saw how your President Sadyr Zhaparov received the guests. How elegant he is and how confidently he carries himself. I looked at him and thought: this is a true master, in the best sense of the word, of this land. I believe that under his leadership, Kyrgyzstan will continue to develop,” she noted.
According to Arinbasarova, despite the rapid changes taking place in the country, young people continue to take an interest in national traditions and customs.
“Traditions, culture, customs and family values bring people together. They turn a population into a nation,” the guest emphasized.
The 6th World Nomad Games are taking place in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening ceremony was held at Bishkek Arena in the capital on August 31, while the main competitions are taking place in the Issyk-Kul region from September 1 to 6. More than 3,000 athletes from 109 countries are participating in the Games.
