Bishkek, March 21, 2026. /Kabar/. The number of tourists visiting Naryn Oblast in Kyrgyzstan is increasing every year. This was announced during the Nooruz celebrations held in Naryn.
The region continues to attract travelers with its stunning mountainous landscapes and clean air. Among the most popular tourist destinations are Son-Kol, Chatyr-Kol, Kel-Suu, Arpa, and Ak-Sai.
From 2021 to 2025, Naryn Oblast sees steady growth in tourism, increased revenues, and infrastructure development.
The region achieved record numbers in 2025: 157,952 tourists visited Naryn Oblast, including 43,202 foreigners. Tourism revenues amounted to over 147 million soms.
Ecotourism and domestic tourism remain the main focus.
Naryn Oblast is the largest region of Kyrgyzstan. It is located in the east of the country.
