Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2026. /Kabar/. During a national meeting dedicated to discussing strategic objectives for the next five years, President Sadyr Zhaparov stated that tourism in the country must be transformed into a year-round industry.
According to the head of state, achieving this requires ensuring high-quality service, modern infrastructure, and the safety of tourists. Currently, projects such as "Ala-Too Resort," "Chatkal Resort," and "Baitik Resort" are being implemented toward this goal.
"Furthermore, hosting international events in Bishkek, Osh, and Manas cities, as well as along the shores of Issyk-Kul lake, contributes to the development of business tourism," the head of state said.
The president encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to develop small businesses in mountainous regions, emphasizing the importance of focusing on high-quality service, national cuisine, horseback riding, and the organization of mountain excursions.
