Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2026. /Kabar/. In Geneva, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev held a meeting with Rebekah Greenspan, Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged substantive views on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to the practical implementation of joint projects in the trade, economic and investment sectors.
Special emphasis was also placed on the issues of simplifying trade procedures and developing the transit potential of Kyrgyzstan, a landlocked country.
As a result of the meeting, the parties noted the importance of maintaining regular contacts and highly appreciated the support provided by UNCTAD in the framework of upcoming multilateral activities, including in promoting Kyrgyzstan's mountain initiatives at the global level.
