Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2026 /Kabar/. The volume of trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia exceeded $5 billion in 2025, and in the first five months of this year, it grew by 25% compared to the same period last year. Svetlana Zabelina, Director of the EXPO EURASIA KYRGYZSTAN exhibition, announced at a press conference held in Kabar.
According to her, Russia accounts for a 27.1% share of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover.
"Trade between Kyrgyzstan and Russia is developing actively. For Russian businesses, Kyrgyzstan is highly attractive due to its geographical location, bilateral friendly ties, and the ease of establishing enterprises," Zabelina said.
Furthermore, Kyrgyzstan's participation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), BRICS, and other international structures creates favorable conditions for developing business cooperation between the two countries.
