Bishkek, March 4, 2026. /Kabar/. The day before, the Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul Chingiz Toktobekov met with the Head of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Shekib Avdagich.
According to the consulate, the parties discussed issues of activating trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Istanbul.
Chingiz Toktobekov spoke about the growth of trade turnover between the countries in the last two years and introduced the investment and tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan. He also said that the Kyrgyz side is interested in expanding business ties and implementing joint projects.
Shekib Avdagich expressed his readiness to make efforts to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between Istanbul companies and the business circles of Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop further cooperation.
