Turnout in parliamentary elections makes about 37%, CEC member says

Bishkek, Dec. 1, 2025. /Kabar/. Voter turnout in the early parliamentary elections held on November 30 was over 1,584,000, or approximately 37%. Central Election Commission member Abdyjapar Bekmatov reports Kabar. According to him, preliminary data shows high turnout in number of constituencies, with approximately 47-48% of voters voting. Meanwhile, turnout in constituencies located around Bishkek was lower, at approximately 24-25%. Bekmatov emphasized that the data is preliminary and is being updated as the precinct election commissions' protocols are processed.

It should be noted that yesterday, November 30, early elections for members of the Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) were held in Kyrgyzstan. Thirty multi-member constituencies were formed across the country. Each constituency elects three members to parliament.

Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) consists of 90 members. The final voter list included 4,294,243 people.
