Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2025 /Kabar/. A mini-workshop for wool processing was opened and put into operation in Baetov village of Ak-Talaa region, which is in the north of Kyrgyzstan.
The project was implemented on the instructions of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev.
2 million 675 thousand soms were allocated for the construction of the enterprise and its equipment. The Karybek cooperative, on the basis of which the workshop was created, has already accumulated more than 10 tons of soft merino wool ready for processing.
The launch of the new enterprise creates conditions for improving the socio-economic situation in the region. The workshop will ensure the processing of raw materials coming not only from Ak-Talaa, but also from neighboring districts.
The manufactured products will be primarily oriented towards the domestic market. At the same time, it is planned to start exporting finished products in the near future.
