Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2025 /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev held a meeting on the implementation of a strategic infrastructure project China - Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan Railway.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, presently, the construction of a temporary power supply line and access roads has been completed, work is underway to build production facilities and prepare the construction base.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of relocating utility lines (power lines, gas and water pipes, telephone cables and other networks).
They discussed issues of providing land for the construction of the railway and problematic aspects. In this regard, local governments were given relevant instructions.
Following the meeting, Bakyt Torobaev instructed to speed up work on the relocation of utility lines; ensure clearing ways for construction; complete the provision of land plots necessary for the implementation of the project.
