World Bank supports development projects in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2026. /Kabar/. Today, Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev met with Hugh Riddell, World Bank Group Manager in Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and main areas of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank.

Hugh Riddell informed about the World Bank's activities in the country, ongoing and planned projects, as well as medium-term priorities for cooperation.

The deputy minister emphasized the important role of the World Bank in developing cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, the importance of the projects being implemented.

He also emphasized the importance of the World Bank Group's integrated approach, which provides support for government development programs and facilitates investments in Kyrgyzstan.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation and continuing a constructive dialogue on topical issues of bilateral cooperation.
