Bishkek, June 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Major public infrastructure initiative has been supported within the framework of World Bank's "Regional Economic Development" project implemented in Osh region and Osh city.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS), the Center for Agribusiness Competitiveness and the Osh City Hall signed important investment agreement.
As part of this, the project to connect the wastewater pipes of Eco Azyk trade, logistics and processing center located in Osh to the general city system.
The total estimated cost of this infrastructure project is 10 million 852 thousand 167 soms. Of this, the main part - 10 million soms - will be financed directly by the World Bank in the form of a grant, and the remaining 852 thousand 167 soms will be allocated by the enterprise from its own funds.
This step will contribute to strengthening the environmental safety of large enterprises processing agricultural products in the region and improving the infrastructure of the city of Osh.
