Bishkek, May 30, 2025 /Kabar/. Ecuadorian musician Leo Rojas, known for his virtuoso playing of the pan flute, has arrived in Bishkek to participate in the VIII World Festival of Epics of the Peoples of the World.
The press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan said that Loe Rojas will take part in one of the festival concerts.
Leo Rojas (real name Juan Leonardo Sanchez Rojas) was born in Ecuador. Representative of the Quechua people. He began studying music at an early age. In 2000, he moved to Spain, and later to Germany, where he began performing on the streets of Berlin. In 2011, he won the popular TV show "Das Supertalent", which brought him international fame. His repertoire combines traditional Indian melodies, arrangements of popular compositions and original music filled with ethnic motifs and spiritual depth.
The VIII World Festival of Epics of the Peoples of the World is taking place in Bishkek from May 28 to 30 and is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the great storyteller Sayakbai Karalaev.
The event is organized with the support of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Manas National Academy, the Manas Kyrgyz National Theater and the Art-Arab public foundation.
