XCMG Group recently presented its intelligent carbon-free mining solutions at the 16th International Mining and Metallurgy Congress (AMM-2026) in Astana, Kazakhstan, reaffirming its long-term commitment to supporting the green and intelligent transformation of the mining industry in Central Asia.
The AMM-2026 Congress, held from June 11 to 12, attracted over 1,500 delegates from 16 countries, becoming one of the most influential international platforms for the mining and metallurgy industries. Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, participated in the plenary session at the invitation of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the congress, XCMG delivered a keynote speech and presented its Zero-Carbon Smart Mining Solution, demonstrating its comprehensive capabilities in providing a full range of environmentally friendly electrified equipment and intelligent technologies for the mining industry.
On June 12, XCMG also held a specialized forum on smart solutions for zero-carbon mining in Astana. The forum focused on the environmental transformation and intelligent modernization of mining enterprises in Central Asia, bringing together representatives of local mining companies for an in-depth discussion on the development of zero-carbon mines and the implementation of intelligent technologies in mining processes.
XCMG Group entered the Kazakhstan market in 2001. Today, its product range includes cranes, earthmoving equipment, road machinery, excavators, piling rigs, and special-purpose vehicles, with cumulative shipments to the country exceeding 40,000 units. XCMG Kazakhstan, registered in Almaty in 2017 as a subsidiary of XCMG, began full-fledged operations in 2019 and established localized processes in areas such as equipment supply, customs clearance, warehousing, maintenance, dealer network management, and personnel training.
