Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. As part of the VI World Nomad Games, a competition for the speed of weaving and untying yurts is being held in the Kyrchyn Gorge.
5 teams of agile men and women are participating in the competition. According to the terms of the competition, men will weave yurts, and women will untie them.
VI World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening ceremony took place on August 31 at the Bishkek Arena stadium in the capital. From September 1 to September 6, the games will be held in Issyk-Kul region, and more than 3,000 athletes from 109 countries will participate.
