Bishkek, March 5, 2026 /Kabar/. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) allocated $1.8 million for the construction of the second phase of the new building of Svetoch School. The new four-story building will create 450 additional student places and 60 jobs for teachers, fully complying with modern international standards, Artem Novikov, RKDF Chairman of the Board.

"This initiative is being implemented in line with the instructions of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to eliminate the shortage of student places and completely eliminate three-shift schooling," he noted.

The project includes STEM labs, robotics classrooms, and inclusive conditions for all children. The school runs the "Russian Teacher Abroad" program, and collaboration with international organizations paves the way for graduates to attend leading universities abroad.

Since its inception, RKDF has funded 45 educational projects totaling $17 million, investing in the development of Kyrgyzstan's future.
