The 4th Meeting of the Presidents of the Judicial Councils of the Organization of Turkic States was held on 22 May 2026 in Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Meeting was chaired by Kholmumin Yodgorov, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, attended by Inam Karimov, Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dimitry Malakhov, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aida Seidakmatova, Chairman of the Council of Judges of the Kyrgyz Republic, Fuzuli Aydogdu, Acting President of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors of the Republic of Türkiye, as well as Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS.
Nodira Khakimova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President, Mirzo-Ulubek Abdusalomov, Chairman of the Constitutional Court and Bakhtiyor Islamov, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan also participated in the Meeting. Nodira Khakimova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President delivered the address of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to the 4th Meeting of the Presidents of the Judicial Councils of the OTS.
During the 4th Meeting of the Presidents of the Judicial Councils of the OTS, Secretary General gave information on the cooperation in the field of judiciary and law enforcement within the Organization, and stressed the importance of the cooperation among the Judicial Councils of the OTS in terms of contribution to the establishment of a prompt, fair and effective judicial system by carrying out activities and procedures related to judges.
The Presidents of the Judicial Councils of the OTS gave information on the judicial systems of their countries, as well as bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the OTS countries.
At the end of the event, the Presidents of the Judicial Councils signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Judicial Ethics between the Judicial Councils of the OTS, and it was decided to hold the next – 5th Meeting of the Presidents of Judicial Councils of the OTS in 2027 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
