Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2026 /Kabar/. Over the past five years, 936 social facilities have been built in Kyrgyzstan, and many others have undergone major renovations. President Sadyr Zhaparov announced at national meeting.

These include schools, kindergartens, sports complexes, hospitals, and cultural institutions. Previously, the opening of each such facility was considered a national event. "Today, the pace of construction is so rapid that it is physically impossible to participate in the grand openings of all the facilities," the president said.

He noted that these measures are aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens and developing the country's infrastructure, creating conditions for high-quality education, sports, and culture.

As a reminder, national meeting to summarize the results of 2025 is currently taking place at Yntymak Ordo, with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov.

Also participating in the event are members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of government agencies, presidential plenipotentiary representatives in the regions, the mayors of Bishkek and Osh, and district akims.
