Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. There are about 1,400 joint ventures with Pakistani capital in Kyrgyzstan. Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov reports.
According to him, support will be provided to enterprises to increase the volume of trade turnover between the two countries.
“There are about 1,400 joint ventures with Pakistani capital. If we create appropriate conditions for them, they have the opportunity to increase trade turnover. There are also joint Kyrgyz enterprises with Pakistan in the field of metallurgy. They produce products necessary for construction. There are high opportunities for expanding cooperation in manufacturing, textiles, pharmaceuticals and other sectors.
We are interested in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. Because Pakistan has experience and enterprises in this area,” the minister said.
It should be noted that currently the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan is 16 million US dollars. Now the two countries intend to increase this figure to 200 million US dollars.
