Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with representatives of Google as part of his working trip to the United Arab Emirates.

The Cabinet of Ministers said that the meeting was attended by Global Director of Google for Education Timothy Paolini and other representatives of the company.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that digitalization is one of the priority areas of state policy, and cooperation with technology leaders such as Google opens up new opportunities for the country.

Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic pays special attention to the modernization of the education system and the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process. An important step in this direction was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and Google Ireland Limited in April 2024.

Google representatives expressed their readiness to strengthen further cooperation. During the meeting, the parties discussed partnership issues in the field of digital transformation of the educational system. Particular attention was paid to the creation of jobs in the IT sector, support for startups, training specialists in the field of digital technologies, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
