Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev met on Thursday with the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam in Hanoi as part of an official visit, the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam are united by strong ties of friendship and a desire to develop relations based on mutual respect, support and trust. He conveyed words of greeting on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov.
"The Kyrgyz Republic highly values bilateral relations with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. I am convinced that through joint efforts we will be able to give a new impetus to Kyrgyz-Vietnamese relations, opening up prospects for closer cooperation for the benefit of our peoples. We are interested in developing inter-parliamentary relations with Vietnam. I consider it important that the establishment of regular contacts between the committees on international affairs of the parliaments of our countries, mutual visits of parliamentarians will contribute to the exchange of legislative experience and, in general, the development of comprehensive cooperation and strengthening of relations," said Adylbek Kasymaliev.
To Lam noted that Vietnam values friendly relations with Kyrgyzstan. He confirmed Vietnam's readiness to further develop and deepen bilateral cooperation.
The parties expressed confidence that interaction at the highest level will have a positive impact on the further development of mutually beneficial relations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, transport and logistics cooperation, and inter-parliamentary interaction.
