Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2026. /Kabar/. Finance Minister Ruslan Suinaliev attended the opening of the 11th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), which is being held on September 28–29 in Doha.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the theme of this year's meeting is "Infrastructure of Tomorrow: Impact and Innovation." Participants are discussing the development and financing of sustainable infrastructure, the implementation of innovative solutions, and the expansion of international cooperation.
The event is attended by delegations from AIIB member countries, finance ministers, representatives of international financial institutions, and leaders of the financial and business communities.
Kyrgyzstan's participation in the meeting is aimed at strengthening cooperation with the AIIB and international partners in the implementation of infrastructure and investment projects, the report said.
