First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev took part in several key panel sessions on the agro-industrial market and global economic transformation on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Speaking at the panel session "The Role of EAEU Countries in Shaping International Agricultural Markets," Daniyar Amangeldiev outlined the country's priorities in ensuring food security. He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is focusing on increasing the export potential of agricultural products and advanced processing, actively implementing state subsidies, modern sanitary and veterinary standards, advanced water management technologies, and scientific cooperation within the EAEU to create a sustainable and innovative food system. Particular attention was paid to the country's readiness for joint investments in logistics centers and the development of the aquaculture sector.
As part of the discussion "The Economy of the New World Order: Structural Transformation, Challenges, and Opportunities," the First Deputy Prime Minister presented an analysis of the current transformation of global financial and trade relations. He noted that, amid the fundamental disruption of the old architecture of international relations, Kyrgyzstan is successfully positioning itself as a key regional hub for trade and transit routes. According to him, Kyrgyzstan's place in the new world order is an adaptive economy that effectively utilizes Central Asia's geographic advantages to enhance domestic growth and regional resilience.
At the end of the working day, Daniyar Amangeldiev, as a guest of honor, participated in the plenary session of SPIEF 2026, where, in the presence of several state leaders and global business representatives, global development vectors and prospects for long-term international partnerships were discussed.
