Asian Championship (U-15). Kyrgyz girls' wrestling team wins medals

Bishkek, July 7, 2025./Kabar/. Yesterday, July 6, the Asian Championship in wrestling among girls under 15 (U-15) ended in Bishkek.

The State Agency of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that athletes took to the mat in all ten weight categories.

Following the results of the competition, the Kyrgyz team won 1 silver and 5 bronze medals:

36 kg — Aruuke Nurbekova (bronze);

39 kg — Kalicha Kylychbekova (silver);

42 kg — Jasmina Arzybaeva (bronze);

46 kg — Ayana Niyazbekova (bronze);

50 kg — Ayana Asylbekova (bronze);

62 kg — Alina Zharkinbaeva (bronze).

Team standings:

1st place — Japan,

2nd place — India,

3rd place — Uzbekistan.

The Asian Wrestling Championship among the age categories U-15 and U-20 is being held at the Bishkek Arena ice arena.
